Samsung has released a software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, currently available only in South Korea. The update, identified by firmware versions F766NKSU4AYI1 for the Flip 7 and F966NKSU4AYI1 for the Fold 7, includes the September 2025 security patch.
The update introduces Google Finance integration to the Now Bar. According to a translated changelog, if a user tracks a stock in Google Finance, significant changes will be displayed on the Now Bar at the end of the trading day.
Samsung DeX is also enhanced, now allowing users to add widgets to the home screen. This feature provides increased customization and accessibility within the DeX environment.
While the update is currently limited to South Korea, there is a possibility that Samsung will extend the rollout to other markets in the future. Users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings and then Software Update on their devices.
The update was initially spotted by @tarunvats33, indicating its initial limited release. The specific timeline for a broader release remains unknown.
