Samsung Electronics aims to integrate artificial intelligence into over 90% of its operations by 2030, according to Roh Tae-moon, acting head of the Device Experience division. Speaking at a press conference at IFA 2025 in Berlin, Roh emphasized that AI would support, not replace, Samsung’s workforce.
The company anticipates embedding AI features in more than 400 million Galaxy devices by the end of 2025. The Device Experience division, encompassing TVs, washers, refrigerators, and other home appliances, will be a primary area for AI implementation. Samsung plans to introduce personalized AI functions for home electronics that will go beyond existing capabilities.
While Roh outlined the broad strategy, specific AI technologies and detailed timelines for these initiatives were not disclosed. The goal is for Samsung to become an AI-powered company, enhancing its product offerings and operational efficiency.
