Method 1: Using a PC or Mac
- Open Google Chrome on your computer. You can find its red, green, yellow, and blue sphere icon in the Start menu (Windows) or Applications folder (Mac).
- Click your profile photo, located in the top-right corner of Chrome. If you haven’t selected a profile photo, a round placeholder icon will appear. A menu will expand.
- ClickSign out. This option is usually below “Manage Google Account.”
- If you don’t see “Sign out”: You likely have Sync services enabled. TapSync is on, then Turn off, and finally Turn off again. This will disable Sync and sign you out of your Google account.
- Delete the user’s profile (optional). After signing out, your profile, along with its browsing history, passwords, and bookmarks, remains on the device. To remove this data:
- Click the profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Click the cog icon next to “Other profiles.”
