Recent benchmarks indicate promising performance for Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chipset, projected to release in early 2026 with the Galaxy S26 series. A user posted a benchmark score showing the chipset’s GPU capabilities.
The Exynos 2600 achieved a score of 3,135 points in the 3DMark Steel Nomad Light benchmarks, surpassing expectations by approximately 15% compared to devices running the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This suggests that the Exynos chipset’s Xclipse 960 GPU may offer enhanced graphical performance.
However, these results stem from testing on a test bench, which typically provides superior cooling and performance compared to standard smartphone conditions. Therefore, performance variations may occur when the chipset is finally integrated into consumer devices.
It is critical to note that the version tested may not represent the final iteration of the Exynos 2600, as further optimization and adjustments are expected before its official launch. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is anticipated to be released prior to the Exynos 2600, which could influence market competition.
