The Nintendo Switch 2, initially launched in April, is now available for purchase globally. Consumers have two options: a standard console-only package and a bundle that includes the digital edition of Mario Kart World.
In the United States, the console-only version is priced at $449.99. The Mario Kart World Bundle is available for $499.99. Gamers can also purchase a range of accessories separately, such as the Switch 2 Pro Controller, Left and Right Joy-Con 2, and the Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip, among others, with prices listed individually.
Under the hood, the Nintendo Switch 2 features a custom NVIDIA chip. It comes with 256GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB using a microSD Express card. The device sports a 7.9-inch 1080p LCD screen with HDR10 support and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) capable of up to 120Hz.
Powering the Switch 2 is a 5,220 mAh battery. Nintendo advertises a battery life ranging from 2 to 6.5 hours depending on usage. Charging the console completely when in Sleep Mode takes approximately three hours.
