The Game Awards 2022 were held on Thursday, and God of War Ragnarök took the top spot with 10 nominations, followed by Elden Ring from FromSoftware, which was nominated for seven. However, Elden Ring won the game of the year title.

The award ceremony excited game lovers with new game announcements.

Hellboy Web of Wyrd

Together with Upstream Arcade, Good Shepard Entertainment, and Dark Horse Comics, Mike Mignola is developing the video game Hell Boy. No release date has been set yet for the cel-shaded Hell Boy: Web of Wyrd, which will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

Among Us Hide N Seek

On December 9, the social deduction party game Among Us will add a hide-and-seek feature.

Street Fighter 6

On June 2, 2023, the sixth installment in the renowned Street Fighter series will be launched, and it has a minigame involving food!

Hades 2

The princess of the underworld will appear in the sequel to Hades, which is essentially everyone’s game of the year for 2020. Details on the schedule and early access availability will be announced in 2023.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon

Following the success of Bayonetta 3, PlatinumGames will soon release another Bayonetta game. On March 17, 2023, a new origin story will be released for the Nintendo Switch.

Earthblade

Extremely OK Games, the company that created Celeste, will release Earthblade as its next game in 2024.

Death Stranding 2

Death Stranding 2 is the upcoming game by Hideo Kojima, and it is showcased in a gloomy teaser that once more includes a baby. Kojima presented the trailer at The Game Awards. In Death Stranding 2, Norman Reedus and Léa Seydoux will return once more.

Tekken 8

We don’t even need an explanation. Who wouldn’t want to play the legendary Tekken.

Diablo IV

Blizzard Entertainment revealed at The Game Awards that the highly anticipated Diablo 4 will be published on June 6, 2023. The release date and a report from The Washington Post suggesting that poor management caused the game’s delays and that the team is reportedly under pressure to finish it in time.

Crash Team Rumble

The developer Toys for Bob has released a new multiplayer action game featuring Crash Bandicoot. Crash Team Rumble is the name of it. The main idea is that players would fight each other for Wumpa fruit while getting beat up. Sometime in 2023, it’s anticipated to launch on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

In the upcoming Phantom Liberty DLC, which is expected to release some time in 2023, Idris Elba will appear as a character named Solomon Reed in Cyberpunk 2077.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon

The mech series Armored Core, created by Elden Ring creator FromSoftware, is getting a fresh start; the last installment, Armored Core: Verdict Day, was released in 2013.

Final Fantasy 16

With the launch of a brand-new revenge-themed trailer, Final Fantasy 16 now has a release date. On June 22, 2023, the PlayStation-only game will be released.

Transformers Reactivate

A closed beta for Transformers: Reactivate, an online action game for one to four players, is scheduled for 2023.
