2022 Golden Joystick Awards results to select the game of the year in specific categories have been announced.
The season for video game awards shows is upon us as the holidays draw near. In the meantime, GamesRadar held the 2022 Golden Joystick Awards earlier today. The Game Awards are in a few weeks. The winners have already been revealed.
The Golden Joystick Awards, also known as the People’s Gaming Awards, is an annual video game awards show that honors the best games of the year as chosen by online voters around the world using GamesRadar+. The Golden Joystick Awards were first held in Britain and were first known as the People’s Gaming Awards.
The ceremony was in its 40th year as of 2022. Launched in 1983, it is the longest-running and second-oldest video game awards show after the Arcade Awards, which debuted in 1981.

The Golden Joystick Awards, which are being held for the 40th time, weren’t bad at all for Nintendo enthusiasts.
”Nintendo Game of the Year” went to Pokemon Legends Arceus, and ”Most Wanted Game” went to Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Elden Ring was the winner of the “Game Of The Year” award. Let’s take a look at all nominees and winners together:
