The latest collaboration between Marvel and EA Sports brings us the FIFA Heroes. Who are the FIFA World Cup FUT Heroes, some of them are revealed. Let’s review all of them. Some FIFA 23’s designers Select Ultimate Team Hero cards will become Super Hero cards thanks to a partnership between EA Sports and Marvel.

What are the FIFA World Cup FUT Heroes cards?

FUT Heroes are unique Ultimate Team cards that were created to symbolize specific periods in football history and have been a part of the FIFA series since 2015.

In FIFA 23, there will be a new FIFA Heroes format with 21 player cards based on memorable World Cup experiences or club football accomplishments.

These cards will have a unique Marvel-themed artwork design that captures the essence of each super hero.

For example, Tim Cahill’s boxing jig, Robbie Keane’s smoking gun dance, and Clint Dempsey’s two-finger posture were all included on FUT Heroes cards in FIFA 22.

Who are the FIFA Heroes in FIFA 23?

There will be 21 FIFA World Cup FUT Heroes cards published, with five players (Landon Donovan, Ricardo Carvalho, Claudio Marchisio, Yaya Toure, and Park Ji-Sung) being revealed during the initiative’s introduction.

In the days that followed, four more names—Javier Mascherano, Rafael Marquez, Lucio, and Diego Forlan—were revealed.

Landon Donovan: The Brave

At his first World Cup in 2002, Donovan’s goal against Mexico guaranteed the USMNT’s advancement to the quarterfinals for just the second time.

In 2010, the striker, who was towards the end of his career, scored the goal that guaranteed his country’s position at the top of their group, ahead of England, for the first time since 1930.

The MLS MVP has five MLS Cup victories to his credit.

Ricardo Carvalho: The Anticipator

Under Jose Mourinho, Carvalho is renowned for leading Porto to their Champions League victory in 2003–04.

The center-half later helped Chelsea win three Premier League championships.

In 2016, he and Portugal won the European Championship.

Yaya Toure: The Citadel

In 2011–12, Toure was a key contributor as Manchester City won their first premier division championship in 44 years. While Sergio Aguero’s goal gave City the trophy, Toure’s two goals in the previous game kept his team in the title hunt.

Additionally, he represented Ivory Coast in three World Cups.

Park Ji-Sung: Tigerheart

For his home South Korea, Ji-Sung became the first Asian player to score in three World Cups.

In addition, he helped Manchester United win the Champions League and four Premier League championships.

Javier Mascherano: Octo-Boss

Mascherano excelled everywhere he played because of his versatility as a defender and midfielder.

The international player from Argentina led his country to a 2014 World Cup final. He won five La Liga championships and two Champions Leagues while playing for Barcelona. Now he is among the mighty FIFA Heroes.

Diego Forlan: Sunstrike

Forlan became a hero for Manchester United after scoring twice to beat Liverpool in his second season after going scoreless in his debut, and now he is a part of FUT Heroes.

In 2011, he won the Copa America with his native Uruguay and the Europa League and Super Cup with Atletico Madrid.

Lucio: The Thunder

Everything that could be won in football was won by Lucio. So, sure he deserves a spot in FIFA Heroes.

In 2002, he won the World Cup with Brazil.

In 2009–10, he won four Bundesliga championships with Bayern, along with the Champions League and Serie A with Inter.

Rafael Marquez: The Kaiser of Michoacan

Rafael Marquez is also in the FIFA Heroes, he won the Gold Cup twice for his native Mexico during his remarkable 147 total appearances.

He won four La Liga championships and two Champions Leagues for Barcelona.
