Today we explain how does sight focus Lost Ark engraving work? The popular MMO RPG game Lost Ark is played by a large fan base. The production, which is completely free, puts the players in the middle of an exciting adventure.
What does sight focus do in Lost Ark?
The Sight Focus Engraving is a potent engraving that boosts the effectiveness of your skills and has the potential to tease your teammates. Only if you type something in conversation will the engraving enhance your skills’ damage by 28% (half for awakening skills).
To trigger the damage buff provided by this engraving, you must type anything in chat. In conversation, all you need to type is five exclamation points (“!!!!!”). Once you do, the Sight Focus active will turn on for 6 seconds and enhance your talents’ damage by 8%, /16%, or 28%. You don’t have to keep typing this because the effect has a 30-second cooldown.
You don’t have to just type out the five exclamation marks; anything you type as long as it contains those five marks is OK. Saying “I love Lost Ark!!!!!” aloud while typing still activates Sight Focus. This allows you to be imaginative and lighthearted with your writing.
Setting a Macro Text is a simple approach to activate the effect without having to type a text each time. To do this, go to the game’s options, select the Community tab, and then set a macro text.
After that, check up the Macro Text’s hotkey settings under Hotkeys. In this case, pressing Alt + 1 on your keyboard will display your text and enable Sight Focus.
How do you engrave in Lost Ark?
After finishing Lost Ark’s West Luterra section, two slots beneath the weapon slot on your character profile become available. Each of these can be equipped with an engraving. By hitting alt-I, you can access their submenu, where you’ll find both battle (or “fight”) engravings and equippable class engravings. Since you must learn them via reading recipe books, you won’t initially have anything to arm yourself with.
You will receive some during the related tutorial quest, and you can find a ton of the green satchels—which are prizes for sidequests—in East Luterra, as well as a few more in Tortoyk, Annika, and Arthetine. These satchels contain engraving recipes. Random recipes are provided by engraving recipe pouches, however engraving recipe selection pouches allow you to select the recipes they contain and are best left for after you’ve chosen your build. Class and battle recipes each have their own pouch.
To learn the recipes contained in the books you receive in pouches, right-click on them. If you have a stack of these, you can use more than one at once by pressing the alt key, just like you would with any other stack of consumables.
A recipe’s rarity can be determined by its color and the color of the pouch in which it is stored. Rarities include:
You’ll receive three activation points in that engraving after mastering 20 common recipes, but you’ll then need to advance to the subsequent rarity level’s recipes. After completing your final 20 orange legendary recipes, you will have 12 activation points in that engraving. This is because every 20 recipes at each higher rarity yields an additional three activation points.
That doesn’t always mean that engraving will have that many nodes lighting up. You only have two spaces available for donning them, therefore you must first equip that engraving. You might not know that you can equip the same engraving twice for twice the effect by double stacking them.
