Overwatch is set to celebrate its sixth birthday in 2022, and Blizzard is kicking off the Overwatch Anniversary Remix Event 2022, which will bring back some popular skins from previous events in the first part with less than 24 hours until start time.
In May 2016, Blizzard launched Overwatch, an action shooter that took the world by storm. When it was originally released on PC and consoles in May 2016, it became the first multiplayer game to win the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards ceremony.
After six years, with Overwatch 2 on the horizon, Blizzard is set to reintroduce six fan-favorite skins from prior events in a new event for the original Overwatch!
Overwatch Anniversary Remix: Release date and time
The first phase of the Overwatch Anniversary Remix Event, Volume One, will debut on April 5.
The event will begin between 11:00 PST/14:00 EST/18:00 GMT and 12:00 PST/15:00 EST/19:00 GMT. The first volume is scheduled to run until April 26th.
Overwatch Remix skins
For the first volume of the event, six Remix skins have been created:
- White Cat D.Va
- Demon Genji
- Mage Mercy
- Evermore Reaper
- Steelhardt Reinhardt
- Zealot Zenyatta

How to get Overwatch Anniversary Remix Event skins?
The in-game shop will sell the Anniversary Remix Volume 1 Event skins unique to this event.
People will be able to purchase them directly from the shop once the Overwatch Anniversary Remix Volume 1 Event begins on April 25th.
We don’t know the price yet, but based on previous events with Legendary skins pricing upon release, players can anticipate these six “recomposed” Legendary skins for 2000 credits.
