Lost Ark’s Awakening system is built around Identity Gauges and Skills. The Wardancer shares the Esoteric Orbs gauge with Striker. Your three Esoteric Orbs, which are located between your skill and item hotbars, will be filled if you strike opponents.

Characters from Lost Ark start out with a decent selection of early-game skills, and new abilities are unlocked on a regular basis as you go through the first 20 or so character levels. XP and level progression earn you skill points that may be used to advance your skills and unlock “tripods.” Tripods are enhancements to individual skills that become available at skill levels 4, 7, and 10; applying one adds a new secondary function to the ability. Lost Ark Striker engravings
You may apply Engravings to your characters once they reach Level 50 in Lost Ark. Engravings allow you to customize your character’s kit with various buffs and boosts. Every class has two “class bonus” engravings that are unique to them, in addition to generic engravings available to all Characters. These effectively let you choose a subclass for them.
The Esoteric Flurry and Death Blow engravings are available to the Lost Ark Striker class, which provide the following perks:
- Esoteric Flurry: Striker lowers the cost of all spender skills by one Esoteric Orb and raises their damage.

The two “generic” engraving kinds that can be equipped by all classes (damage boosts and utility buffs) are assigned according to how many engraving points you have available, which is determined by a combination of your character’s equipped accessories (such as necklaces, earrings, rings, etc.) and their Ability stones, both of which may be found as loot or purchased from merchants throughout the game. Awakenings are similar to engravings in that they become available when a Lost Ark character reaches Level 50. There are again two alternatives, and unlike with Engravings it’s not an either/or situation: you may unlock both Awakenings Skills if desired, although you can only use one at a time.
Lost Ark Striker Awakening skills:
- Nova Blast is a combo of rapid stikes that can deal devastating damage. If the initial strike misses, the attack will be canceled.
- True Heavenly Awakening will enable Striker to gather energy in his legs and kick 2 times, dealing damage and sending foes airborne.
Both Awakening skills are great options under different circumstances.
