Instagram is introducing a new feature that will let you embed your Instagram profile on third-party web pages, like blogs and forums.
Instagram now lets you embed a user profile on a third-party website
Instagram head Adam Mosseri spread the news from Twitter:
? New Features ?
We’ve rolled out some pretty fun new features this week that I wanted to share with you:
– Reels Visual Replies
– Profile Embed (US only for now)

As you can see in the example below, users will have the opportunity to embed their Instagram profile on a website.
“You’ve been able to embed an Instagram photo or Instagram video into a website for many years now. This extends on that idea and allows you to embed a miniature version of your Instagram profile on a website. Maybe you want to showcase your Instagram content on a website somewhere, or link to someone else’s.”
For example, you could refer your potential customers to an influencer you’ve worked with before who posts on their social media channel about your products. There are several ways to use it, but overall it doesn’t seem as valuable as the post embeds.
Right now this feature is only available in the United States.
