Block enables Cash App users to send Bitcoin or stock as gifts

Cash App announced the news with a tweet published on Tuesday, telling that users can send “as little as $1 in stock or bitcoin” as a gift and it’s “as easy as sending cash.”

With Cash App, you can now send as little as $1 in stock or bitcoin. It’s as easy as sending cash, and you don't need to own stock or bitcoin to gift it. So this holiday season, forget the scented candles or novelty beach towel, and help your cousin start investing. pic.twitter.com/HS0CqusiLS

Block allows people to pay each or send gifts using cryptocurrencies now. Coinbase and PayPal are other companies that allow this to happen.

BlockFi’s research published by Cointelegraph suggests that many people in the United States may be willing to accept digital currencies like Bitcoin, Ether, and Dogecoin as gifts this holiday season. Crypto, however, is quite new to the industry. The majority of survey respondents, therefore, are unlikely to know how to transfer or use it yet.
