It’s possible that Xbox and Gucci are in the early stages of working together. Hints of a collaboration between the two companies have appeared on social media platforms like Twitter.
On November 7, the fashion firm and gaming behemoth engaged in a brief yet significant conversation on Twitter.
“Saying ‘GG’ at the end of every game will never go out of fashion,” Xbox posted, referencing the acronym for “good game” — which coincidentally, mirrors Gucci’s double-G monogram.
“We couldn’t agree more,” Gucci replied.

Fashion-gaming crossover: Gucci x Xbox
In 2020, Gucci teamed up with Tennis Clash to create an in-game tennis court decked out in the label’s logo and clothes for the game’s characters.

The brand’s collaboration with Roblox to establish a digital museum and sell in-game variations of its monogrammed Dionysus bag, which went for $6.75 (about 475 Robux), was announced last year.
It’s worth noting that while the virtual purse, which has no value or purpose outside of Roblox, was sold for 350,000 Robux — approximately $4,115 — it outstripped its real-world sale price.
In June, Gucci partnered with 100 Thieves, a California-based Esports organization that operates several top esports teams and has received backing from Drake, to release Streetwear at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Not to mention the fact that Microsoft is no amateur when it comes to fashion, having collaborated with Places+Faces and Adidas Originals in recent years. The Gucci connection makes sense as a grandiose final commemorative release.

It’s hard to say how a potential Gucci x Xbox collaboration will play out, but Matthew Haag, CEO of 100 Thieves, posted a close-up of what appears to be a co-branded suitcase on Instagram Stories.
Given the two firms’ past accomplishments, there are lots of options.
