OPPO has recently introduced the Reno6 5G and Reno6 Pro 5G, which we’ll talk about in this post. Both phones have a similar appearance, but they vary in terms of performance and cameras.

Despite their identical designs, the Pro model has more curves than the Basic model.
The camera module is positioned in the upper left corner, and it’s quite similar between the two, but the Reno6 Pro includes an extra camera.
Both Reno6s come with a FullHD+ AMOLED screen at 90Hz. Though the touch refresh rate is 180Hz on both devices, they are protected with Gorilla Glass 5 and both offer a fingerprint reader under the display.
The Oppo Reno6 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 CPU, while the Reno6 Pro has a Snapdragon 870. The Reno6 comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, whereas the Pro version includes 12GB RAM and 256GB storage (UFS 3.1).
The OPPO Reno6 Pro and OPPO Reno6 features a 4,500 mAh battery. The company claims the phone can charge from 0 to 100 in 35 minutes, with 65W fast charging support on both models. There will also be Android 11 and ColorOS 11 for these phones’ operating systems.

- 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture lens.
- 16MP Sony IMX481 wide-angle with f/2.2 aperture lens and 119-degree field of view.
- 13MP Samsung S5K3M5 telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture lens.
- 2MP OmniVision OV02B10 macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture lens.
The telephoto sensor of the Reno6 Pro has a 5x hybrid and 20x digital zoom, but the brand has not yet clarified the optical zoom. For its part, the resolution of the front camera sensor is the same in all phones: 32MP.

The new Reno6 series will be available from September. We are going to leave the official prices for the European market:
- OPPO Reno6 (8GB + 128GB): 499 euros (around $590)
- OPPO Reno6 Pro (12GB + 256GB): 799 euros (around $950)
