Do you know how to learn if someone unfriended or deleted you on Snapchat? The application doesn’t have a native tool for this but there is a method. It’s not a straightforward solution but this guide should help you out.

How do you know if someone unfriended or deleted you on Snapchat?

    Check the Snapchat score

The platform doesn’t directly tell you that a friend has deleted you on Snapchat. You have to find out indirectly.

If someone deletes you from Snapchat, that person will still appear on your friend list, but on the other hand, you won’t appear on that person’s friends list. But if you follow these steps, you might find out who unfriended or deleted you on Snapchat:

    • Find and launch the app.
    • Log into Snapchat with your username and password.
    • Open the “Friends” page. You can swipe to the right while on the camera screen to open the friend list or you can simply tap the “Friends” icon located in the bottom left corner of the screen. It is a small chat bubble icon.

    • In your friend list, find the person you want to observe and select his/her name by tapping and holding your finger on their name. This will open an options window.
    • In the list of options, tap “View Friend” at the top of the list, just below the person’s name. You will be redirected to their profile page.
    • Now you can see the person’s rating. You can find it by searching just below the person’s name, next to their Snapchat tag. You’ll see their Snapchat tag, followed by a vertical line and then a number.

Here’s the catch, you can’t see the result if they’re not a friend of yours. So, if you don’t see one, then you’ve been deleted or unfriended on Snapchat. If you do see a snap score, then there are no problems.

How do you know if someone unfriended or deleted you on Snapchat for iOS?

The Snapchat app on iOS devices comes with an additional tag that you won’t see if you’re using an Android device to view Snapchat. During step 6, on an iOS device, you can see an additional label to the right of the person’s Snapchat score.

It is labeled “Added.” This “Added” label means that you have the person on your friend list but he/she has deleted you.

    Send a snap

If you want to check if you’ve actually been removed from someone’s Snapchat, you can try sending a Snap and use the Snapchat icon that shows a sent message to determine if you’ve been removed or not. Follow these steps:

    • Launch the Snapchat app.
    • Log into Snapchat with your username and password.
    • Take a photo.
    • Send the Snap to the person.
    • Open the “Friends” page. You can swipe to the right while on the camera screen to open the friend list.
    • When you send a Snap to a person, if they successfully receive it, a little red arrow will appear in the conversation. That person can see the Snap and respond accordingly.
    • However, if the arrow is gray, instead of red, then that person has deleted or unfriended you on Snapchat.
    • You can check again by refreshing the page.
