Xiaomi has presented in China its new models of the Redmi family called K40 and K40 Pro and here are price, specs and release date.

The Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro are now official, and once again come to stand at the top of the phone catalog of the brand, based on leading specifications that have little to envy to those of the Xiaomi Mi 11.

The new family is initially made up of two different models. Both, however, share features such as the fact of being based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series platform or having screens with a high refresh rate.

The front is occupied by a large 6.67-inch diagonal display, based on AMOLED technology and with a Full HD+ resolution.

Its refresh rate is 120Hz, and there is no lack of an on-screen hole, located at the top center of the panel.

Under the hood of the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor, an even more powerful version of the Snapdragon 865 and 865+, maintaining the integrated 5G modem and 8 cores.

At its side appear on the scene 8GB LPDDR5x RAM with 128GB storage and a 4,520mAh battery capacity compatible with quick charging up to 33W power.

As for its photographic section, we have a 48MP resolution main sensor, accompanied by a 5MP tele macro sensor, and another 13MP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens.

Likewise, the technology and RAM capacity are maintained, as well as its battery capacity.

In the photographic section, the main change we find is the inclusion of a 108MP resolution camera that acts as the main sensor. This sensor, however, is exclusive to an even more advanced model called Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro+. The “normal” version of the Redmi K40 Pro has a 64MP sensor.
