How to screen share in a video call on Google Duo?
As the name suggests, this function in the application will allow you to show other people what you see on the mobile screen during the call. This type of function can be useful if you need to show the steps to perform a certain task for example or if you have a problem on your phone and want to show it to the other person. Many calling applications already have this function and now Google Duo is the next to join. Follow these steps:
- Open Google Duo.
- Make a video call.
- During the call, go to the app menu by clicking on the three vertical dots.
- Swipe to the right.
- Select the Screen Sharing option.
- Click on Start now.
- The screen will be shared with the other person.
- To stop sharing the call, tap the icon on the screen to stop sharing.
Since January, all users of the application should already have this screen sharing feature in their accounts. You just have to make sure you have updated Google Duo to its latest version.
