It has been quite some time since it was announced that Google was buying Fitbit, the sports accessories giant that already had several proposals for devices with smart operating systems in circulation. It so happens that the final go-ahead for the purchase operation did not come until very recently, and it is only now that Google is starting to make real moves with the brand.

For example, the one it is now making in various parts of the world, including the USA, is none other than incorporating the official announcement of the arrival of the new devices on its website. Fitbit products, from smartwatches to scales, can now be purchased by accessing the Google Store and not a single product has been left out of its new online catalog.

“Fitbit, we welcome you to the Google Family”

With this text, Google announces from its online store that the products of the Fitbit family are incorporated into it, although for the moment they are not available in the catalog of the website itself, you can access the catalog of the brand abroad, which is currently posted on Fitbit.com/global.

On the Fitbit website, which can now be easily accessed from the Google Store, we find everything from its new additions (the Fitbit Sense and the Fitbit Versa 3) to classic devices such as the Versa 2, the Charge 4 wristband, or the economical Fitbit Inspire or Fitbit Ace 2. All of them already belong to the Google ecosystem, and perhaps we will soon see closer collaboration between the two brands.

For the moment, it is unknown whether Google plans to incorporate current or future Fitbit devices directly into its store so that they can be purchased without leaving the domain of the company’s own store. Google itself has not issued any statement on the matter so we will have to wait to see the future moves of the brand.
