Google Pixel application launcher has a fixed widget called ‘At a glance’ at the top of the main screen, which shows the day, the weather forecast, our calendar events, and from now on also the weather alerts.
Google Pixel’s “At a Glance” widget will show weather alerts
Now just by unlocking the screen, you will be able to see a bad weather alert, such as danger alerts for floods, storms, hail, directly in the widget.

The new weather alert will be displayed on the two lines that the widget occupies. You will be able to take precautions in order to travel in a more secure way.
The warning will be displayed until the end of the state of alert declared by each country’s state weather agency. If you don’t want to see this type of alert in your Pixel, just click on the widget and then on Preferences.
There, in the ‘At a Glance’ settings, you can disable Weather Alerts or other information that may appear in the widget, such as calendar events, birthdays, etc.
