OpenAI has begun rolling out an update for ChatGPT, introducing a new Scheduled page that enables users to schedule tasks. This page allows for the management of active tasks, including options to pause, edit, or delete requests along with the visibility of scheduled run times.

The update aims to enhance the reliability and speed of scheduled tasks. Users can specify tasks to be completed at a particular time or during a broader timeframe, such as morning, afternoon, or evening. OpenAI stated that “all tasks are faster and more reliable,” following this update.

The scheduled tasks feature is available to Go, Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users on both web and mobile platforms. The rollout includes a capability for monitoring tasks, enabling ChatGPT to proactively search the web or connected applications on behalf of users.

OpenAI has not disclosed when free-tier users will gain access to these scheduled tasks. Concurrently, the company is discontinuing the Pulse feature, which offered personalized daily summaries. Pro users can still access this feature for 14 more days before transitioning to the new scheduling hub for future summaries.
