LinkedIn launched an Ad Agency Certification program designed to enable advertising advisors to demonstrate their expertise in LinkedIn ads based on performance and best practices. Approved participants will receive official badges to display on LinkedIn and external websites, along with preferential visibility in LinkedIn-led marketing initiatives and industry spotlights.
According to LinkedIn, “Many agencies have built deep LinkedIn Ads expertise through years of hands-on experience, but that expertise is not always visible to clients or prospects. LinkedIn Ads Agency Certification changes that by providing a clear, client-facing way to validate an agency’s investment in training, measurement, and best practices.”
The certification program aims to elevate standards for agencies advising on ad initiatives by encouraging the completion of official training. To become certified, agencies must complete their business profiles and meet LinkedIn’s required standards, as well as undertake significant LinkedIn Marketing Academy certifications.
“Together, these requirements establish a consistent standard, making it easier for advertisers to confidently identify agencies equipped to drive growth and results on LinkedIn,” the platform stated. The certification will enhance assurance for businesses seeking expert advice on LinkedIn ads and is positioned as a valuable addition to the social advertising ecosystem as more businesses leverage the platform for promotions.
Last week, LinkedIn reported a 12% increase in overall revenue for Q1, attributed to strong performance in B2B marketing. Paid video on LinkedIn also grew nearly 30% year-over-year.
