Samsung will introduce AI-powered call screening to several older flagship Galaxy models alongside the Galaxy S26, which operates on One UI 8.5. The new feature will be available for the Galaxy S25 range, Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Galaxy TriFold when the software update is released.

A Samsung representative confirmed the addition of call screening to these devices, according to a post by Galaxy Updates. While the original announcement specifically cites the Galaxy S25 range, the simultaneous updates for other models imply their inclusion, although no official confirmation for those devices has been provided.

Speculation exists regarding the availability of call screening for even older Galaxy models. Users have expressed a desire to see this feature extended to more affordable and older devices, highlighting the demand for effective spam call management in today’s environment.

One UI 8.5 is expected to launch for the mentioned devices within the current month, with updates for other older devices anticipated shortly thereafter or in the subsequent month. The rollout details are still being closely monitored to confirm the final list of devices that will receive call screening.

“I would like to see it added to as many phones as possible,” the Samsung representative stated regarding the call screening feature.
