Razer has launched the Blade 16 laptop, now available for order starting at $3,500.
The device incorporates Intel’s latest Core Ultra chips and LPDDR5X-9600 MHz RAM, aiming to balance portability and performance.
This model is positioned between the Razer Blade 14 and Razer Blade 18. The Blade 16 retains a thickness of 0.59 inches (14.9mm), consistent with the design from the previous year. The laptop features a 16-inch QHD+, 240Hz OLED display that is reported to be 100 nits brighter than its predecessor.
Razer has transitioned from AMD Ryzen processors to Intel Core Ultra 9 386H chips in this iteration. These processors are among the first built using Intel’s new 18A manufacturing process and include 16 cores along with an integrated NPU that delivers up to 50 TOPS for applications such as image generation and live translation. The laptop’s Copilot+PC functionality supports these NPU capabilities natively.
The new chips also improve energy efficiency, allowing for up to 15 hours of battery life. In terms of graphics, the Blade 16 offers NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. The configuration includes a maximum of 64GB of LPDDR5X-9600MHz RAM, enhancing performance for gaming and other demanding tasks.
The starting price of $3,500 includes 32GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU. This increase in price reflects the rising costs of memory and storage in the PC market.
The Razer Blade 16 can be ordered now through Razer’s official website.
