Samsung has provided an early look at its artificial intelligence (AI) photography tools for the forthcoming Galaxy S26 smartphone series. These AI features are expected to be a key subject at the company’s Unpacked event next week.

The Galaxy S26 phones will incorporate a new camera system, powered by Galaxy AI, designed to integrate photo and video capture, editing, and sharing. A company representative stated that users will be able to perform several functions, including transforming a daytime photo into a nighttime image quickly, restoring absent object portions in pictures, capturing detailed photos in low-light conditions, and merging multiple photos into one cohesive result.

Video demonstrations showcased the application of these AI tools, which will be accessible within a single application, eliminating the need for separate image editing programs. The integration of updated cameras is anticipated to be part of Samsung’s mobile showcase, which is also expected to highlight other AI-focused features for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra models.
