Samsung is developing a new AI-powered feature for the Galaxy S26 called Now Nudge, which appears to be the company’s answer to Google’s Magic Cue on the Pixel lineup.
According to code found in a leaked One UI 9 firmware build, Now Nudge will function as an intelligent autofill tool capable of pulling personalized information from multiple apps. If a friend texts you about a dinner reservation, for instance, the feature could scan your email to find the booking details and present them as a suggestion.
The leaked firmware, originally spotted in test builds for the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8, revealed a long list of categories that Now Nudge will support. These include accommodation, flights, vehicle rental, restaurant reservations, sports, movies, coupons, medical appointments, exercise, government services, and education, among others.
SammyGuru, which first surfaced the feature details, noted that this list likely only scratches the surface of what Now Nudge will be capable of when it launches. The feature represents Samsung’s broader push into on-device AI that goes beyond simple text prediction.
Now Nudge is not the only new addition expected with the Galaxy S26. Previous code analysis has also uncovered new camera toggles for video softening and adjustable autofocus speed, suggesting Samsung is refining both the software and imaging experience for its next flagship.
