Razer has launched the beta version of Synapse Web, a browser-based edition of its desktop Synapse software. The tool targets gamers needing fast adjustments away from home, such as at LAN events or tournaments, where installing the full desktop application is impractical.
Synapse Web launches with support exclusively for Razer Huntsman V3 Pro keyboards. Razer plans to expand compatibility to additional devices in the future. Accessible via any Chromium-based browser, the web app allows users to modify key settings, apply Chroma RGB quick effects, and handle on-board profiles.
Users can view, edit, and save profiles directly to the keyboard’s device memory. This ensures configurations remain consistent when switching between PCs.
Razer describes Synapse Web as a complement to Synapse 4, its latest desktop software. However, it could also function as a standalone option. Online searches reveal persistent user complaints about bugs in the Synapse desktop app, potentially making the streamlined web version more reliable for basic tasks.
The full desktop app remains required for advanced features, including deeper device integration such as multi-device RGB syncing and game-specific profiles.
