Anthropic and Teach For All launched a global initiative to provide AI tools and training to educators in 63 countries, impacting over 100,000 teachers and 1.5 million students.
Teach For All, a global network working to expand educational opportunity, has expanded over 15 years, connecting organizations such as Teach For India and Enseña Chile. This partnership, known as the AI Literacy & Creator Collective (LCC), positions teachers as co-architects in AI development. Anthropic provides access to Claude, and educators offer feedback to guide product evolution.
Wendy Kopp, CEO of Teach For All, stated, “For AI to reach its potential to make education more equitable, teachers need to be the ones shaping how it’s used and providing input on how it’s designed.” Michael Gilmore, COO of Teach for Australia, added, “The combination of real-world experience from the Teach For All network and technical insights from Anthropic has provided a fabulous learning opportunity.”
Examples of teacher-developed tools include an interactive climate education curriculum created in Liberia, utilizing Claude Artifacts. In Bangladesh, a teacher developed a gamified math learning app for Grade 6 and 7 students struggling with numeracy. Rosina Bastidas, a tech educator at Enseña por Argentina, remarked, “I’ve since developed multiple educational artifacts and I’m currently designing digital, interactive workspaces for secondary school students aligned with the curriculum.” Oscar Onuoha, IT Lead at Teach For Nigeria, noted, “The partnership has connected us with a community of organizations navigating similar technical opportunities, and there’s been significant learning around responsible AI implementation.”
The AI LCC operates through three programs. The AI Fluency Learning Series, with Anthropic’s education team, covers AI fluency and classroom applications. Over 530 educators attended the first series in November 2025. Claude Connect serves as an ongoing learning hub where over 1,000 educators from 60+ countries exchange ideas daily. Claude Lab offers Claude Pro access for advanced practical implementations, including monthly office hours with the Anthropic team and direct input on Claude’s product roadmap. More than 200 applications were received within four days of the program announcement.
This initiative expands Anthropic’s existing education work. This includes one of the world’s first comprehensive national AI education pilots in Iceland, a partnership with the government and ALX in Rwanda to bring AI education to learners across Africa, and participation in the White House Taskforce on AI Education in America.
