Xbox will host the fourth installment of its Developer Direct event on January 22 at 1 PM ET. The showcase will feature upcoming releases, news, and gameplay footage from teams developing this year’s games.
Xbox Wire Editor-in-Chief Jon Skrebels announced the event in a blog post, stating that Xbox’s 25-year anniversary will include the return of beloved franchises. Viewers will see the first extended look at the Fable reboot.
The event will unveil gameplay footage for Forza Horizon 6, an open-world racing game set in Japan. UK studio Playground Games is developing both Fable and Forza Horizon 6.
New details and gameplay will appear for Beast of Reincarnation, a “one-person, one-dog” role-playing game. Game Freak, known for the Pokémon series, is developing the title, which follows protagonist Emma and her canine companion in post-apocalyptic Japan.
