Bluetti unveiled the Charger 2 at CES 2026, a dual-input charger that draws power simultaneously from a vehicle’s engine and solar panels to recharge portable batteries.

The original Charger 1 connected only to a vehicle’s alternator, limiting it to engine power and excluding solar input. This gap led Bluetti to develop the Charger 2, which accepts up to 600 watts from solar panels and 800 watts from the engine. Bluetti states the device charges batteries 13 times faster than a standard car charger.

The Charger 2 supports multiple Bluetti power stations and expansion batteries. Its smart controller automatically detects and prioritizes available energy sources in real time. The unit also functions as a jump-starter for vehicle engines.

Owners of the original Charger 1 can upgrade by replacing the internal unit with the new model, using the existing cabling without additional wiring. Bluetti offers this upgrade kit for $99 through February 7.

The full Charger 2 sells for $349 through February 7, after which the price rises to $499. The device suits off-roading and camping scenarios, where users often carry solar panels alongside portable power stations.

Bluetti designed the Charger 2 to address the limitations of the first model, ensuring users arrive at campsites with fully charged batteries by harnessing both engine runtime and solar exposure during travel.
