OnePlus will launch OxygenOS 16 on October 16, 2025, with the initial rollout beginning in India. The update is based on Android 16 and includes improvements to privacy, performance, and security.
A primary focus of OxygenOS 16 is its artificial intelligence features, which will include native Gemini support for OnePlus AI. This integration allows for contextual tasks, such as generating itineraries from user content like Mindspace data. The software also introduces design and user interface tweaks for a more polished experience.
The update will first be released for the OnePlus 13 series, consisting of the OnePlus 13, 13R, and 13S, which have finished beta testing. A wider rollout to other devices is expected after the initial release. OnePlus has not yet disclosed a full device eligibility list or a detailed changelog for the update.
