Microsoft has announced it will hold an Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast in late September, focusing on first-party titles and updates from third-party partners.

The broadcast is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, at 7 pm JST (3 am Pacific / 6 am Eastern / 11 am UK).

Mena Kato, Senior Director, Xbox Asia, stated that the show will feature games from Microsoft’s creative teams, along with news from partners in Japan, Asia, and worldwide. “We know players around the world delight in Japan‑inspired content and games developed in Asia, and we can’t wait to connect with players across the globe to show off the incredible talent and creativity behind upcoming games coming to Xbox,” Kato said in a post on Xbox Wire.

Notably, Ninja Gaiden 4 will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) and is expected to be showcased during the broadcast. This action game is a collaborative effort between Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, published by Xbox Game Studios.

Microsoft also plans to bring the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handhelds, developed in partnership with ASUS, to TGS. These devices were announced with an October 2025 release date at gamescom 2025, but their pricing remains undisclosed. An announcement regarding the price point is anticipated during the event.

Bethesda will co-host a merchandise booth at TGS, featuring official merchandise from popular franchises such as Fallout, Starfield, Doom, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. There is speculation that Bethesda might provide updates on these games during the broadcast.

Adding to the anticipation, fans speculate that Forza Horizon 6, rumored to be set in Japan, might be teased during the event. Xbox boss Phil Spencer previously confirmed that the next Forza title is slated for release in 2026. The official TGS broadcast “visual identity” has fueled these speculations.

Kato described the visual identity as “Using an urban neon aesthetic, the design puts the viewer in a street scene that is distinctly Tokyo, with various signs illuminating the way, all featuring gaming and Xbox iconography (with a touch of Japanese culture included as well).”

The Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast promises a blend of first-party reveals, third-party updates, and potential hardware and game teases, all wrapped in a distinctly Japanese aesthetic.
