Randy Pitchford, development chief at Gearbox, has acknowledged concerns regarding the game’s pre-release performance on PC. He confirmed that a Day 1 patch is in development and is expected to address these issues. Pitchford stated that the patch “does a lot,” suggesting it is crucial for optimizing the game’s performance.
Borderlands 4 aims to deliver a more grounded narrative and tone compared to its predecessor, Borderlands 3, while retaining the series’ core looter-shooter gameplay and cooperative action. The game will feature new Vault Hunters and a vast array of weapons.
It has been confirmed that there will be no early access or pre-release unlocks for Borderlands 4. Players will need to wait for the official release times to begin their adventure. This news was reported by Vikki Blake, a reporter for IGN.
