Poco has rolled out a significant software update for its F7 smartphone in India, addressing numerous camera and performance concerns. The F7, launched in June following the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra, is receiving this update based on extensive feedback from its user base and the broader Poco community.
The update, identified as OS2.0.102.0, brings a host of camera enhancements. Users can expect “more natural skin tones and facial details,” along with “improved facial contrast and accurate brightness in portraits.” The changelog also highlights crisper images with “better detail retention across lighting conditions,” “superior HDR control” for balanced highlights and reduced overexposure, and “greens and landscapes” appearing “more real and accurate.”
Beyond camera improvements, the update also promises enhanced thermal management. It includes the June 2025 Android security patch, which, despite being two months old, provides an essential security layer. Poco has also committed to releasing another update by the end of the month, aiming to deliver further all-round improvements for the F7.
