Borderlands 4, previously available for preorder on PS5, Xbox, and PC since June, now has a Switch 2 version available for preorder on Amazon for $70. The Switch 2 edition of the game is slated for release on October 3, nearly a month after its initial launch on other platforms.
Currently, only the standard edition of Borderlands 4 is available for preorder on both Amazon and GameStop for the Switch 2. While console and PC versions offer a Super Deluxe Edition with additional content and packaging, it remains unclear if a physical release of the Super Deluxe Edition will be available for the Switch 2. However, the Super Deluxe edition can be preordered directly from the Nintendo eShop for those who prefer the additional content without a physical copy.
Preordering the standard edition from Amazon includes the Gilded Glory Pack, which features a Vault Hunter skin, a weapon skin, and an Echo-4 drone skin, as detailed on the 2K website.
The physical Switch 2 edition is a game-key card, requiring a full game download to play. Amazon’s preorder price guarantee applies to this purchase. According to Amazon, customers will pay the lowest price if the price decreases between the preorder date and the shipping date.
