Anker has unveiled its latest innovation in sleep technology, the Soundcore Sleep A30 wireless sleep buds. This new model distinguishes itself from its predecessors by incorporating active noise cancellation (ANC), a feature absent in earlier versions.
The Soundcore Sleep A30 is launching its pre-order phase through a Kickstarter campaign starting today. Wider availability is slated for August 2025, when the earbuds will be available via Amazon and Soundcore’s online store.
Priced at $229.99, the Sleep A30 represents a premium offering compared to the previous Sleep A20 model, which retailed for $149.99. However, early backers of the Kickstarter campaign can secure the Sleep A30 for a discounted price of $139.
The design of the Sleep A30 has been refined, making them 7% slimmer than previous iterations. This compact form factor minimizes protrusion from the ears, enhancing comfort for side sleepers by reducing pressure against pillows. To ensure a secure and comfortable fit, Anker includes multiple sizes of silicone ear tips (four sizes), memory foam tips (three sizes), and ear wings (three sizes).
According to Anker, the Sleep A30 can block up to 30dB of external noise. The inclusion of ANC, which utilizes two microphones positioned both inside and outside the ear, impacts battery performance. While the A20 offered up to 14 hours of battery life on a single charge, the A30 provides up to nine hours on their own or 45 hours with the charging case when playing stored sounds. Streaming music or podcasts reduces battery life to 6.5 hours or 35 hours with the case.
The Sleep A30’s charging case boasts “Adaptive Snore Masking technology.” This feature analyzes the volume and frequency of nearby snoring sounds and generates “noise masking audio” to mitigate the disturbance. Additional features of the Sleep A30 include sleep monitoring, sleep position tracking, a private repeatable alarm with snooze, and a Find My Earbud function.
