Redmi has officially unveiled the Redmi Pad 2, the successor to the 2022 Redmi Pad, aimed at expanding the brand’s tablet offerings.
The new tablet features an 11-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display offers a maximum brightness of 600 nits and supports input from the Redmi Smart Pen.
Powering the Redmi Pad 2 is the Helio G100 Ultra chipset. While branded as a newer processor, it is noted to be similar in performance to the Helio G99 found in the previous generation.
Storage and configuration options include Wi-Fi only and cellular versions. Users can choose between 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Expansion is available via a microSD card slot, supporting cards up to 2TB.
Camera capabilities include a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear camera. The tablet runs on HyperOS 2, based on Android 15.
The Redmi Pad 2 is equipped with a 9,000mAh battery, a significant increase from its predecessor, and supports 18W charging via USB-C.
Available colors are Graphite Gray, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple.
Pricing for the Wi-Fi-only models starts at £169 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, increasing to £219 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option.
Cellular models begin at £219 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version and retail for £259 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
