We have prepared a Wild Hearts Human path vs Kemono path comparison for those who are uncertain about which one to pick. In this writing you will find each of the path’s pros and cons.

In Wild Hearts, the type of armor you choose to equip can have a significant impact on your gameplay experience. The game’s armor system follows an alignment or morality system that you might see in a single-player RPG. Almost all armor can be upgraded to follow one of two paths: the Human path or the Kemeno path. Therefore it is important to be informed about Wild Hearts Human path vs Kemono path.

When viewing the Forge in Wild Hearts, you may notice that some attached weapon and armor skills are greyed out with a colored Path alignment symbol next to them. What this means is that these skills will only activate when wearing armor with a corresponding alignment. For example, the Wrack Blade upgrade for the Karakuri Katana has an attached skill called Tiger’s Den, which boosts attack but makes it harder to recover from ailments. However, this is a Kemeno path skill and won’t be activated if wearing Human path equipped armor.

You will notice that every piece of armor in Wild Hearts has either a Human, Kemeno, or Neutral alignment, moving you along a sliding scale between the three. In the game’s lore, those who want to pursue advances in technology take the Human path, whereas those who believe in the balance of nature favor the Kemeno path. This adds a layer of depth to the game’s RPG customization that some players will find frustrating while others will appreciate it as a way to deepen their immersion in the game’s world.

So without further ado, here is Wild Hearts Human path vs Kemono path.

Wild Hearts Human path vs Kemono path

The Human path upgrade option allows your armor to be aligned toward the Human path, a path that focuses on technology and human ingenuity. Human-Path skills tend to be more passive or defensive, allowing for better sustain and better team support. When you upgrade your armor to the Human path, the armor’s visual changes to be more humanistic, and you gain alignment toward your overall armor alignment.

On the other hand, the Kemeno path upgrade option allows your armor to be aligned toward the Kemeno-Path, a path that focuses on monstrous abilities and bestial innates. The Kemeno-Path skills tend to be more aggressive and offensive, often boosting damage and critical stats to higher levels. Upgrading armor to the Kemeno-Path changes the armor’s visual to be more bestial and natural looking, and you gain alignment toward your overall armor alignment.

It’s important to note that Human path and Kemeno path armor can be worn at the same time, but the alignments do conflict and will subtract from each other. As such, it’s recommended to focus on one side. It is possible to activate both Human path and Kemeno path armor skills at the same time, but it requires careful and calculated armor building to reach this goal.

The armor you choose to equip will also impact your character’s appearance. Upgrading your armor to the Human path will change its visual appearance to be more humanistic, while upgrading it to the Kemeno path will change its appearance to be more bestial and natural. This attention to detail adds to the game’s overall immersion and showcases the care and thoughtfulness that went into its design.

In order to obtain the materials needed to upgrade your armor, you’ll need to hunt down and defeat various monsters in Wild Hearts. This creates a catch-22 situation where you need armor to defeat monsters, but you need to defeat monsters to obtain the materials to upgrade your armor. This adds a layer of challenge to the game’s progression and encourages players to experiment with different armor paths and builds.

Overall, the armor system in Wild Hearts is an essential aspect of the game’s mechanics and adds a layer of depth and complexity to its RPG customization. Choosing whether to focus on the Human path or Kemeno path can impact your gameplay experience, and the visual changes to your armor add to the game’s immersion. So if you are looking for tools to topple your enemies, we advise you to go for the Human path but if you decide to fist their jaws, go for the Kemono path.
