Your account must be legitimate, well-known, and active in order to be eligible for verification.

Additionally, it must fall within one of the following categories: government, new organizations, journalists, businesses, brands, or organizations; entertainment, sport, and gaming; activists and organizers; or content producers and powerful people.

Different criteria, such as connections to official websites or samples of published work, may be required for each category.
