Adidas Originals announced a new partnership with the crypto exchange platform Coinbase. Both parties confirmed the collaboration on Twitter.

Adidas Originals and Coinbase join forces for future projects
Adidas Originals didn’t give any further information about the collaboration. The brand, on the other hand, recently expressed an interest in the metaverse in a tweet two days before the partnership was made official:
A Coinbase spokesperson told The Block: “It is a very positive development to see more companies enter the cryptoeconomy. We look forward to seeing all of the opportunities for brands in this growing space.”
Right now Coinbase is developing a new NFT service, maybe Adidas Originals might have intentions to release an NFT collection. Recently we’ve covered Nike’s plans to sell virtual trainers in the metaverse.
