Sony has just announced its most premium phone, a model that has been the center of leaks these days for its high qualities for photography. The Sony Xperia PRO-I arrives with a one-inch sensor from the Zeiss.

Designed for professionals in photography and video recording, the Xperia PRO-I will sell for 1,799 euros in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. With it, accessories are offered that range from remote control to video equipment with a professional microphone and stand.

Starting with the most significant of this new Sony mobile, which is its cameras, on the back, there is a triple camera with 12-megapixel sensors, the main one being the one-inch Exmor RS 1.0-type sensor from Zeiss.

Sony Xperia PRO-I’s camera features

The wide-angle ultra-wides are used with the secondary sensor, which has a variable aperture of f/2.0 to 4.0 and is mounted on a 24mm Zeiss lens. The other two sensors have an f/2.2 aperture of 16mm (124° field of view) and f/2.4 diameter of 50mm, respectively.

To improve the depth of the setting, you must include an iTOF 3D sensor. Even while filming in 4K HDR resolution, Sony‘s triple camera can use Eye AF and moving focus. In addition, the professional mode offers capabilities and settings comparable to those of a SLR camera, allowing the photographer full control over the lenses.

The front camera is 8 megapixels with a f / 2.0 aperture, but it isn’t one of the most significant features of the terminal. Instead, Sony has concentrated on improving the rear and adding several more tools for photographers.

The Sony Xperia PRO-I can be controlled with remote control, a remote control handle to hold the phone like a camera, and a Vlog monitor with a professional microphone. Everything you need to transform your phone into a full recording studio.

Other features

The Xperia PRO-I is no different from previous models in terms of its basic appearance, which includes a dark matte black design that Sony has been promoting lately. It has several buttons on the sides that act as a switch and increase or decrease the volume.

The screen is a 6.5-inch OLED with 4K resolution and HDR. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate and touch response speed of up to 240Hz. There are no perforations on the front camera because it is in a higher range.

The terminal contains a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which is adequate to handle the heavy workload associated with taking photographs. It has 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, which may be expanded using a microSD card to store a large number of high-resolution photos.

The battery is 4,500 mAh with a fast charge of 30W. Finally, this phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Dual-SIM, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a mini-jack for headphones and is waterproof and dustproof.
