The company behind the Grand Theft Auto series, Rockstar Games, announced that the remastered trilogy, which includes GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas, will be released on November 11th for $59.99.

The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher. It’ll be up and running on iOS and Android in the first half of 2022 too.

On the 20th anniversary of GTA 3 debut, Rockstar games launched a new website that provides a little more information about some of the forthcoming improvements to the collection.

The game will include “brilliant new lighting and environmental upgrades, with high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting, and much more, bringing these beloved worlds to life with all new levels of detail.”

It’s possible that having GTA V-like controls might help these classic games feel more modern and playable.
