Vivo has introduced two new phones in China, despite the fact that pre-bookings have already begun in other nearby nations such as Japan. In the meantime, Vivo’s newest models include the Vivo T1 and Vivo T1X.

The two phones are positioned in the mid-range of the market although we find the Vivo T1X (Dimensity 900) a step below the Vivo T1 (Snapdragon 778G). Both have similar battery life, high-resolution cameras, and LCD displays with a high refresh rate. We go through the differences between them.

We begin at the table and give precedence to a Vivo T1 that is sold in Asia with a 6.67-inch LCD screen with FullHD+ resolution, 20:9 ratio, 120Hz refresh, and 240Hz touch refresh. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor is the CPU of choice, and it comes in six different models with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The battery is 5,000mAh with fast charging up to 44W.

We have 16MP selfies with 64MP f/1.79 for the primary camera, 8MP f/2.2 for super wide-angle photos, and 2MP f/2.4 for macro shots in the image. The phone arrives with 5G in addition to WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 and has the headphone jack. The fingerprint reader is placed on the right and the phone will arrive with Android 11 running under OriginOS 1.0.

As for its smaller sibling, we have the Vivo T1X with the Dimensity 900 at the helm of the options and a top model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory, without microSD. The display is a 6.58-inch LCD with FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh, and 180Hz touch refresh. The model has a 5,000mAh battery that repeats fast-charging up to 44W.

The camera begins with 8MP for selfies and progresses to a 50MP f/1.9 main camera and 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Connectivity is the same as the T1 except for the headphone jack, which is missing here, and again we have Android 11 hidden under OriginOS 1.0, Vivo’s proprietary layer.
