ASUS has presented its most advanced smartphone to date, and here is specs, price and release date of this phone, Asus ROG Phone 5S.
The ROG Phone 5 does not seem to be enough for ASUS, and now the company has presented to the world an even more beastly version of its smartphone focused on the gamer public: the ASUS ROG Phone 5S.
It is one of the first cell phones on the market to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor and 18GB RAM, in addition to a 6,000 mAh battery capacity and other powerful specifications.

Similar to the previous model, the new ROG Phone 5S stands out for equipping a dual-screen. In addition to the main AMOLED E4 panel with 144Hz refresh rate and 6.78 inches, it also incorporates a “ghost” screen on the back, which can be customized through different effects and combines with the aggressive look of the device itself. This addition, however, is exclusive to the ROG Phone 5S Pro. The “normal” version is equipped with a customizable RGB light instead of the PMOLED Vision Color display.
Everything in its design has been created with a focus on delivering the best possible gaming experience. It includes a 3.5 mm headphone port with Quad DAC, stereo speakers with HD audio, four microphones, fully customizable AirTrigger 5 ultrasonic triggers, and pressure detection on its edges.
As for its technical specs, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ is the brain in charge of moving ROG UI based on Android 11 and is accompanied by 16 or up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM.
For storage, you can choose between 256 or 512GB capacity depending on whether you choose the normal model or the “Pro” version.
In both cases, a 6,000 mAh capacity battery is responsible for providing the necessary power. And when it’s time to hit the charger, ASUS includes 65W quick charging, Quick Charge 4.0 support for up to 30W, and USB PD 3.0 standard.
The photographic system of the ROG Phone 5S consists of a 64MP Sony IMX686 main camera with f/1.8 aperture, along with a 13MP camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro camera. On the frontal, we find a 24MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

ASUS has launched the new generation of its reference phone in Taiwan for now, and it will still take a few weeks to land in other regions.
