Huawei has just concluded a very important presentation event for the company, and in the last five minutes has shown the first official image of the new Huawei P50 Series.
The company’s top-of-the-range should have been presented a few months ago but for obvious reasons, it has not been so, as the CEO of the consumer unit himself, Richard Yu, has said.
As I’m sure you all know, the US veto on Huawei is hurting the company in a very strong way and they don’t want to launch a flagship handset that then can’t be sold outside China or even inside has problems with component supplies.
Despite that, Richard Yu himself has boasted the design by showing the first official image of this phone.
A unique design for a unique camera
In the image, we see what appears to be the Huawei P50 Pro, the most powerful of the three leaked models.
As can be seen, it will have two camera modules, one with the main camera and another with the other three, for which we do not know what sensors or types of lenses they will use.
Of course, it can be seen that none of them uses a periscope telephoto and we do not know if Huawei has also fallen out of this fashion this year or if it is something that is left for the Pro Plus model.

As for the design, we have to highlight the color, obviously, and it’s been a long time since we have seen a golden mobile. Of course, this color is more popular in Asia, so it has probably been chosen with those users in mind.
Both the front and back are curved, joining in a metal frame that houses the buttons, including the volume buttons. We are glad that Huawei has abandoned the experiment with virtual buttons.
We do not yet know when these Huawei P50 Series will be presented, but it may be during the summer. Of course, whether they will arrive in some countries is another story.
