Google Calendar will introduce an improved time zone picker for its web application.

The update aims to streamline event scheduling across different time zones, addressing a previous limitation where users had to manually scroll through an extensive list of global time zones.

Users will now be able to search for a city or country within the time zone picker to select the correct time zone. Google said the enhanced functionality will be available wherever a time zone can be selected in Google Calendar on the web.

This includes features such as creating and scheduling meetings, configuring a secondary time zone for the calendar grid, and utilizing the World Clock feature.

The feature will become widely available over the next few weeks. It will be enabled by default for Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and personal Google account users.
