Today Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 10S and Note 10 5G, we are going to talk about the specs, price, and release date of these smartphones. The Chinese tech giant does not seem to be satisfied with the success achieved so far by its Redmi Note 10 line. After the original models, the company has decided to expand the series with two new devices.

The Redmi Note 10 5G, as its name suggests is coming with 5G connectivity and we can clearly say it is a critical feature. We are talking about a smartphone with a slightly revamped design compared to the other models in the Redmi Note 10 series, with a rectangular rear camera module, which houses the three sensors vertically, along with the LED flash and ambient light sensor.
On the front, we find a 6.5-inch display with IPS technology and Full HD+ resolution, which boasts a hole centered at the top, where the 8MP front camera is hidden. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate and supports variable refresh rate technology that saves power by reducing the refresh rate based on the content displayed on the panel.
Its right side is occupied by the volume up and down buttons and the on/off button, which also integrates the fingerprint reader. At the top, there’s a headphone port, a microphone, and an infrared emitter.
Xiaomi has chosen a MediaTek Dimensity 700U for the Redmi Note 10 5G. It is one of the most affordable 5G modem chips from the semiconductor company.
It is accompanied by 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. This device comes with a 5,000mAh battery capacity and it has Android 11 as the operating system, customized by MIUI 12.
Redmi Note 10 5G comes with a 48MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

For its part, the Redmi Note 10S provides a more complete experience than the Redmi Note 10 5G but doesn’t bet on 5G.
It comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, which supports Full HD+ resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate.
It features a design much more similar to the original Redmi Note 10, with a slightly curved back on the sides. The hole in the screen houses a 13MP front camera.
In this model, there’s a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP portrait sensor.
The company bets again on a MediaTek processor on Redmi Note 10S, specifically Helio G95.
This device comes with 6BG/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. The battery has a 5,000mAh capacity with 33W quick charging support.
