Huawei introduced its new smart bracelet called Band 6 today in China, and here is its specs, price and release date.

At the beginning of last November 2020, Huawei made its new quantifying bracelet official in China. The Huawei Band 6 landed in the country and joined the manufacturer’s catalog of wearables, and now it is the turn of the sixth generation of devices of what until recently was its parent brand.

Huawei has just made official the new Huawei Band 6, which is situated in a spectrum very similar to the previously mentioned. With a similar design and features, the new bracelet will soon be available for purchase in China and it only remains to know when we can see it in circulation in our country.

The almost twin sister of the Honor Band 6

As we mentioned in the introduction, the Huawei Band 6 and the Honor Band 6 are quite similar. We could summarize their changes in that Huawei’s new proposal is slightly thinner and that, at least for now, it will not have an NFC chip for mobile payments. Although the latter may change if Huawei finally decides to bring it to Europe.

Meanwhile, we have on the wrist a bracelet weighing 18 grams without counting the silicone bracelets, and a rectangular AMOLED screen of 1.47 inches diagonal. A screen that leaves us 194 x 368 pixels and that uses 64% of the front of the bracelet for this panel.

With the Huawei Band 6 we can perform the classic measurements of quantifying bracelets, from measuring steps to heart rate or sleep quality, and also allows us to measure blood oxygen saturation. It is also compatible with voice assistants and has proprietary magnetic charging to, according to Huawei, offer about two weeks of autonomy.

The new Huawei Band 6 is waterproof thanks to a resistance of 5 atmospheres and is compatible with both Android (version 6.0 onwards) and iOS (version 9.0 onwards). We will be able to buy it with a strap in black, red or dark green color.
