Project xCloud, Microsoft’s streaming service, is now available for mobile phones in several regions and some Xbox 360 games are coming to xCloud with Game Pass. The platform offers the possibility to enjoy various Xbox One games in the palm of your hand with an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

Microsoft wants to take the cloud gaming experience further and give gamers the ability to enjoy various classic games through Project xCloud. The company announced that several Xbox and Xbox 360 backward compatible games will be playable on mobile devices through its streaming service.

The good news is that the project kicks off today with an attractive selection of games. The only requirements to enjoy them are to have an Android device and access to Project xCloud via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Microsoft revealed its plans to bring backward compatibility to cloud gaming. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have access to a selection of 16 Xbox and Xbox 360 classics on Android phones and tablets starting today.

The company said the list of backward-compatible games available on Project xCloud will gradually grow, with more compelling titles that marked past generations of gamers. Some of the titles already confirmed have touch controls, so it will not be essential to have a controller to enjoy them.
