How to recover a deleted email in Gmail?
Go quickly to the recycling bin
Fortunately, whenever we delete an email from our account it goes straight to the recycling bin. It will remain there for 30 days before going on to the next phase, which is a much more difficult situation to recover from.
If you deleted an email, the first thing you have to do is recovering it from the trash, and this process can be done from the web version or the mobile application for Android and iOS.
In the web version, you will only have to move to the left menu and navigate through the available options until you find the one called “More”, once you are inside you will find the “Trash” tab and there you will only have to select the mail you want to retrieve and then you will have to move it to a folder in your inbox.
One last chance
Apparently, emails that are permanently deleted manually or spend more than 30 days in the trash should no longer be able to be recovered, but Google still gives you a chance to do so, but it does not give a guarantee.
If you want to try to recover one of these emails just go to the following link and log in with your Google account, click on “continue” and wait for Google to retrieve your emails.
If you’re lucky, the deleted items will reappear in your account, as long as they haven’t already been deleted from Google’s Gmail servers.
